However, the superstar's family dismissed these reports about his health, stating that they were mere rumors. They clarified that Rajinikanth was actually in good health and just needed some rest after his recent hospitalization.
Rajinikanth's wife, Latha, addressed the media, expressing her frustration about the spread of false information. She thanked Rajinikanth's colleagues, fans, and well-wishers for their concern but mentioned that they were not currently focused on resuming the filming of his latest project, 'Rana.' In this film, Rajinikanth plays three roles and stars alongside Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
Notably, Rajinikanth had been admitted to a private hospital due to allergic bronchitis and viral fever, which occurred shortly after his previous hospitalization for exhaustion. The exhaustion had occurred on the first day of the shoot of 'Rana,' a film directed by K S Ravikumar.
